March 15th was a beautifully clear night. After our astronomy club meeting while working on equipment I took this image. It was a 2 minute unfiltered exposure.

Jupiter

This image resulted from stacking 250 images gathered using a webcam and was taken using the 8" scope on the night of August 20, 2009.

The 14" telescope at the CMS Observatory is seeing clearly again! After a few years of being out of collimation, the scope has been given an overhaul and is now seeing much more clearly. Some fine-tuning is still needed, but we're getting there! This image was taken the night of August 20, 2009 is the result of stacking 500 images taken with the webcam.

Saturn

This image of Saturn taken 5/18/09 at 10pm during the CMS Astronomy Club meeting shows the planet with its rings nearly edge on. The best 192 images out of 850 were stacked using K3CCD Tools (the program used to capture the images).
